Background:  Professor McKinney taught at Dutchess Community College (SUNY) for over 25 years. She served as Chair of the Instructional Staff Council (ISC), a member of the DCC President’s Advisory Council and of the Executive Committee, Professional Staff Organization (PSO).    At one time she was an exhibits artist at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC.

• MFA (Ceramics, Jewelry, Weaving), Cranbrook;
• Significant additional Post Graduate (Gold and Silversmithing), SUNY, New Paltz;
